Menu Plan Monday - January 19, 2009

Portion control is the key to losing the unwanted weight. We are still eating well, just less of it. Plan for the week:

Monday - Vegetable beef soup, multi-grain Italian bread

Tuesday - Mrs. A's brown sugar ham, mac & cheese, turnip greens, corn muffins

Wednesday - Eat at church - Pork roast, hash brown casserole, green beans, salad & dessert

Thursday - Shrimp & grits casserole , salad

Friday - Spiced roasted chicken, oven roasted carrots & potatoes, salad

Saturday - Hamburger buddy, corn, salad

Sunday - Potato soup, cheese biscuits, apple slices

The brown sugar ham is the best and easiest recipe ever. My DH actully cooked it in a skillet on the stovetop instead of on the grill today. As always it was soooo good.
